Management Team

Roger S. Miller

President

Roger joined Seldon Technologies, Inc. in late 2008 to lead the commercialization and build-out of the water filtration business. He has over 20 years of related leadership experience in water treatment and filtration. Most recently, Roger led the nanotechnology business development at Donaldson Company, a leader in utilizing nanotechnology in filtration. Prior to Donaldson, he spent ten years at Osmonics, and GE Water & Process Technologies, in various leadership roles; including three years as SVP of global sales and marketing and two and on-half years as SVP & GM of their $85 million Filtration and Separations BU.

D. Duane Dunk

Vice President, Sales, Marketing, and Business Development

Duane is a business development manager and strategic planner specializing in start-ups working with breakthrough technologies. He has over twenty years of experience in water treatment. From 2001-2009 Duane was the Director of the Drinking Water Division at HaloSource Technologies, where he was instrumental in moving the company from the R&D stage to successful product introduction. He served as the Managing Director and Board Secretary/Treasurer for Marathon Ceramics from 1998 to 2001, and the Managing Director; Executive V.P. of Operations and V.P. of Business Development of Vector Environmental Technologies, Inc. from 1993 to 1997.

Eli Gonzalez

Vice President, Military and Government Programs

Eli is a business development manager in government and commercial markets with over 20 years of experience providing new and specialized equipment to the U.S. Military, Special Operations Forces, U.S. Government Agencies and foreign allies. As Business Development Manager for ATK Security and Sporting from 2010 to 2012, Eli was responsible for strategic program interface and product development for ATK’s Security and Sporting lines to the nation’s highest priority Military installation–Ft. Bragg. As the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Accounts Manager for ATK Tactical System – Eagle Industries Inc. from 2007 to 2010, Eli managed the company’s largest growth sector. Despite not being geographically located at the headquarters, he managed the initial development meetings, ran first run prototypes, product approval, purchase orders and subsequent production. As Program Manager Special Operations / Special Ops Marketing at SAAB Technologies USA he was responsible for the development of innovative Camouflage, Concealment and Deception (CCD) devices for U.S. Special Operations forces.

Michael T. Hamilla

Engineering Manager

Mike has nineteen years of experience in new product development, project management, production control, and sales and marketing in the semiconductor and solar industry. From 1991 to 1995 Mike was a Program Coordinator for Lockheed Martin Corp., responsible for the management and coordination of structural materials tests in support of the Naval Nuclear Reactor Program. In 1995 he started Ge Semi Technologies by developing state of the art processes for germanium semiconductor substrates for solar applications. In 1998 he started a new business unit of a company specializing in high precision, automated metrology systems for process control in semiconductor and solar wafer manufacturing. From 1998 to 2010, Mike was the Product Line Manager for MIT Instruments, Inc., where his responsibilities included new business development, bringing new products from concept to market, developing business plans and securing funding, preparing marketing materials and reporting to the Board of Directors.

Alan G. Cummings

Chairman & Co-Founder
Alan Earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center (1972) and B.A. from University of Connecticut (1969). He is a member of the Connecticut & Vermont Bar. He has managed Seldon since its inception in summer of 2002. He was a principal in Crabtree & Evelyn, Ltd. for more than twenty years during which time he assisted the company in its development to a recognized international brand.

Christopher Cooper

Innovation Leader & Co-Founder
BS, New Mexico State University; MS, University of Washington, physicist and co-founder of Seldon Technologies, Inc.; In 2001 Chris had the concept for a new water purification technology based on the carbon nanotube. Chris is responsible for supervising the intellectual property created by the company.

Roger Kennedy

Co-Founder and Senior Advisor
For decades Roger was a significant force in the federal government and finance. He was the CFO of the Ford Foundation, Director of the National Park Service during the Clinton administration, wrote numerous books and was an active advisor to Seldon’s management team.
